Seventy Four is a Restaurant and Dining Club, set in the Old Court Room of the hanging judge, George Jeffreys, who found infamy during the 1685 Monmouth Rebellion.
Seventy Four, named after the 74 rebels sent for execution by the judge, brings back to life a large part of Dorchester’s history, with modern and chic touches.
If you’re looking for a space to host a special event, then Seventy Four is the ideal venue - We offer bespoke menus for all occasions.
From a simple get together to small weddings, our unique dining room, with 17th century oak cladded walls, offers a comfortable and luxurious space to enjoy with family and friends.
